Prep School: Recipes for a Summer White Party

Is it really August? If you’re like me, you’re getting pretty tired of this heat and looking forward to cooler, fall days and the smell of crisp air and dried leaves. To help you prepare for the change in seasons, I’ve put together this post on a great summer send-off theme: a Summer White Party. What better way to celebrate the season’s last hurrah than by donning your summer whites and indulging in these exotic recipes? White Party Menu |

Mango Panna CottaThai Marinated Grilled Chicken Skewers

Amazing Asian Ramen Salad / Pineapple Mojito White Sangria

White Gazpacho / Coconut Cupcakes

For some reason I really gravitated toward the tropical and Asian recipes while doing my research for this post. Could be my Filipino heritage, or that I just really love a good mango, mojito or anything else you find near the equator. I picked recipes that were mostly white colored but still wanted some vibrant pops of color and of course delicious! Most of these were actually not that crazy to make, either.

Did you have a white party? What did you serve? Let me know in the comments or if you tried any of these recipes. And for more ideas, visit the link below to the Pinterest board. I’ll continue adding ideas and inspiration as I find them on the interwebs 🙂

Stay tuned for my next post, which will compile décor inspiration to complement these recipes for the best goodbye to summer.
